Consider... Your cat is obsessed with eating fabric. Just absolutely obsessed.
You come home one day to find multiple articles of your clothing chewed straight through. Your shoelaces are decimated. There's no saving your underwear.
You begin the process of keeping the floor completely clean from your dirty laundry. You still have the habit of sometimes leaving used clothes around, but now they're higher up, out of reach.
You are forced to make due with what clothing you have left. Your shoes? Majority are fucking ruined. This cat not only chewed off the laces from every single pair, but she proceeded to also piss all over most of them. You are now the proud owner of three pairs of shoes. No more and no less. Enjoy regularly replacing the laces for them!
Most of all, you learn to let go of anger. How can you be- Sorry uhm.
I got interrupted by hearing her chewing on something. I had to silently put on my glasses, turn on my phone's flash and creep up on her in order to catch her visciously chewing on the shower curtain that isn't even that good because it turned out to be AI.
This still isn't great because uhm. This is an expensive little cat. We've done bloodwork, we've tried calming supplements and plug-ins, we're trying this food sensitive diet right now, it's like none of it actually works??
She's just obsessive and compulsive? Do I have a cat with fucking OCD? It seems like it's completely mental, because the bloodwork was clean, gut health is clean, I fear the food sensitive diet is only angering her more than anything, so she's acting out more. I sure as hell love this cat, but she is... Something.
Anyway, you can't stay mad at her, even if she ruins your AI shower curtain, because that shit was cringe ass AI anyway, like???
You just worry. Worry about her tummy.
But I guess she calms down fine enough when I shove her under the covers and force her to lay down on my tummy, so... Maybe this is a form of enlightenment?
