Work Complaining
Sometimes, you're just gonna come across people who don't wanna do their job. It's easiest to notice with coworkers, imo.
They think the job sucks and everything is awful and they refuse to do anything besides the barest minimum possible. Sometimes you try asking them to change a bad habit or two, but then they look at you like you got three heads. (I'm sorry I want you to radio when you return to a post that's about as large as a football field. Crazy, I know!)
As much as I can agree that there are ways a job can be silly and stupid... If I hated somewhere so much that I was only talking about how shit the job was for every single shift I had, I'd start applying to new places yesterday, right? The best time to apply is when you're chilling on a stable paycheck anyway. May as well.
Options are out there... Are they really great options, and do you have much to choose from if you don't have a college degree? Hell no, you don't have options really... But you may as well try finding somewhere more your speed if you dislike being on camera 24/7, walking around constantly, and the act of people watching.
I consider my job a really great one, but it is being a glorified hall moniter. If that's something you don't wanna really do, then...?
Dude, why are you even here?
Put that energy you use badmouthing me, for making the mistake of trying to help you by keeping you out of trouble, towards finding a job you actually want.
Stop making it worse for the people who can tolerate the base level bullshit of the job.
We do enough navigating management and navigating the general public and their whole lack of critical thinking skills. Why should we also have to navigate the sour ass moods of our fellow coworkers too?
